About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Molding Production Engineer – Planner to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for production planning, process optimization, and coordination with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and timely molding operations. The ideal candidate has a solid background in engineering and manufacturing, with a focus on plastic injection or molding processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement detailed production plans and schedules for the molding department.

  • Monitor daily production output and ensure alignment with production targets and deadlines.

  • Coordinate with material planners, production staff, and maintenance teams to avoid delays and minimize downtime.

  • Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies, quality issues, or delays and implement corrective actions.

  • Optimize machine utilization, manpower allocation, and cycle time to increase productivity.

  • Assist in setting up and maintaining production standards, process documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Support process validation, troubleshooting, and improvements related to molding operations.

  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.


 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field).

  • With 1–3 years of experience in molding production, preferably in a plastic injection molding environment.

  • Knowledgeable in production planning, scheduling tools, and manufacturing processes.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (especially Excel); knowledge in ERP systems is an advantage.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Willing to work on-site and in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

    Preferred:

    • Experience in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.

    • Familiarity with ISO/TS standards in production environments.
