About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Engineering Development (PED) Senior Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of production equipment. This role is essential to support new product introduction, continuous process improvements, and equipment innovation. The ideal candidate brings expertise in both mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of production systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and specification of production equipment to meet process and product requirements.

Oversee the mechanical and electrical design of custom equipment and production systems.

Manage equipment fabrication, testing, and delivery in coordination with suppliers and internal teams.

Develop and implement PLC programming and debugging for automation and machine control systems.

Lead the installation, adjustment, and fine-tuning of new equipment on the production floor.

Support continuous improvement projects by introducing new equipment or upgrading existing systems.

Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure alignment with operational goals.

Create and maintain documentation related to equipment design, manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering, or other related fields.

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a production or equipment engineering environment.

Proven experience in equipment development from concept to deployment.

Skilled in mechanical and electrical design using appropriate software and standards.

Hands-on experience with equipment fabrication and custom machine development.

Strong background in PLC programming and debugging.

Practical experience in equipment installation and adjustment in a live production environment.
