About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Analyst (Manufacturing Excellence) who will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and cultivating a culture of continuous improvement within our organization. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong background in food manufacturing, who can translate complex data into actionable insights to support company-wide performance improvements.

The successful candidate will partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to optimize manufacturing processes, manage costs, enhance client satisfaction, and support revenue growth through performance monitoring and KPI reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 KPI Reporting & Strategic Analysis

  • Develop and maintain a real-time KPI dashboard across manufacturing, quality, cost, and delivery metrics

  • Analyze trends and provide actionable insights to leadership

  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in cross-departmental data

🔹 Process & Operational Improvement

  • Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce waste and enhance productivity

  • Benchmark practices against industry standards

  • Champion Lean Manufacturing & Six Sigma principles through workshops and Kaizen events

🔹 Cost Management & Efficiency

  • Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining high-quality standards

  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams for optimal resource and inventory use

🔹 Technology Integration

  • Evaluate and implement manufacturing technologies, automation, and digital tools

  • Collaborate with IT on ERP solutions and data reporting improvements

🔹 Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Production, Quality, Finance, and HR to align KPIs and performance goals

  • Act as a strategic link between shopfloor operations and senior leadership


Qualifications:

🎓 Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering (specialization in Food Manufacturing preferred)

  • Master’s Degree is an advantage

🛠 Experience:

  • 5 to 10 years in food manufacturing operations, process improvement, or related roles

  • Experience in KPI reporting and dashboard development

  • Preferably with experience in toll manufacturing and supply chain logistics

  • Background in ice cream or food production is highly desirable

📊 Skills:

  • Proficient in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt certification preferred)

  • Strong data analysis skills using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.

  • Effective leadership and project management capabilities

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and food safety standards
