Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
10+ years of experience in taxation, with at least 5 years in a managerial role
Solid experience in the real estate industry, particularly in:
Horizontal residential development
Property management
Commercial leasing operations
Experience in audit is an advantage
In-depth knowledge of BIR, local government tax laws, and compliance requirements
Familiarity with SEC, BOI, PEZA, and ideally PSE regulations
Skilled in strategic tax planning, risk management, and translating tax rules into actionable business insights
Successful handling of tax audits and investigations (local and national) specifically related to housing projects
Excellent presentation and communication skills—able to brief and advise senior management
A strong network of professional contacts and relationships with regulatory bodies is a plus
