Description:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Service Engineer / Maintenance Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance, installation, and repair work on equipment and systems. The ideal candidate should be technically proficient, customer-focused, and capable of diagnosing and resolving issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and equipment.
Install, calibrate, and test new equipment and machinery.
Troubleshoot issues and repair faulty components or systems.
Maintain detailed service records and documentation of repairs and maintenance.
Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Recommend improvements or upgrades to equipment and procedures.
Train operators and users on proper equipment use and basic troubleshooting.
Recording and reporting the Schedule and Unscheduled Down times to the Production Manager.
Assure the strict implementation of 5s, Golden Rules, and HSE Policies.
Requirements:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field.
Proven experience in equipment maintenance or service engineering (3–5+ years, depending on seniority).
Knowledge of:
PLC
High Pressure Vacuum System experience is preferred
Facility Maintenance
Pneumatics
Electro-mechanical System
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to travel and work outside regular hours during emergencies.
